Keyboard Shortcuts

Since IRIS is a web application, standard browser keyboard shortcuts can be used in most places.

Navigation

• Tab - Move between fields, buttons, and links.
• Esc - Close modal dialogs.
• Up/Down Arrows - Move up or down within a list of items.

Date Fields

When selecting a date, the calendar pop-up supports the following keyboard commands:

• Enter - Select the currently-focused date.
• Right/Left Arrows - Move forward/backward one day.
• Up/Down Arrows - Move forward/backward one week.
• Page Up/Down - Move forward/backward one month.
• Home/End - Go to the first/last day of the week.
• Esc - Close the calendar and return to the date input field.
• ? - Open the Help panel for the calendar.

Survey Form

• Tab - Move between fields.
• Up/Down Arrows - Move between items in the Sections list.
• Esc - Jump back up to the Sections list.

Modal Dialogs

• Esc - Close dialog.
