Server Nodes

If your institution is licensed to run multiple MAPS servers in a clustered environment, the Server -> Nodes screen shows information about each node in the cluster. Otherwise, this screen will be blank.

The node information shown includes the system name, MAPS service version, active/inactive status, boot date/time, available memory, memory in use, disk space, and service start date/time.

The Server -> Nodes screen in MAPS Config showing various details for each node in the cluster.

If you have more cluster nodes than are allowed on your license, some of the nodes other than the one you are currently logged in to may be listed as inactive. This happens because the MAPS service for a node will stop running if there are insufficient licenses available. You may also see inactive nodes if the MAPS service has been stopped on that server for some reason. Inactive nodes may be deleted using the Delete button at the top of the screen.

Configuring Node-Specific Settings

Some of the settings and options in MAPS are node-specific. For example, the Restart the Service button restarts only the MAPS server node that you are currently logged in to. When you log in to MAPS in a clustered environment, you will be logged in to a random node in the cluster. The Node dropdown in the upper right of the MAPS Config allows you to switch to a different node so that you can view or modify its configuration.
