Keyboard Shortcuts

General

Ctrl-C - Copy
Ctrl-X - Cut
Ctrl-V - Paste
F1 - Open context-sensitive Help for the current screen
F5 or Alt-R - Refresh the information on screens that show live data, such as the Inspector and Mapplets.

Tab - Navigate through different sections of the user interface, including the Navigation pane and various areas of each page in MAPS. Tab also navigates between fields on all screens and dialogs. Use Shift-Tab to reverse direction.
Arrow Keys - Navigate up and down in lists. Use the arrow keys to select the desired page within the Navigation pane. The left and right arrow will collapse and expand any menus that contain sub-menus.
Alt-Down - Expand dropdowns, open Browse dialogs for fields that ask for files, folders, or paths or which have an associated ellipsis button that opens another dialog.
Shift-F10 - Open the right-click context menu for an item. Used to access menu functionality that does not have an indicated keyboard shortcut.

Each of the buttons at the bottom of the MAPS Config application has an associated keyboard shortcut that works no matter where you are in MAPS:

Alt-D - Open the Debug window.
Alt-C - Check for updates.
Alt-H - Open the MAPS Help (not context-sensitive-- to see the help page corresponding to the screen you are currently on, press F1 instead).
Alt-U - Open the Evisions Support website.
Alt-S - Sign in/out of MAPS.

Alt-[letter] - Many screens in MAPS have screen-specific shortcuts that work only on that page. These shortcuts use the Alt key combined with a letter. The letter corresponding to each command is underlined in the menu at the top of the page. Many of these functions are also available through the context menu (F10) when an item on that page is selected.
