Group Categories

As of MAPS 6.11, groups may now be assigned to a category, and likewise a category may be assigned to a group. With the addition of the Data Connection category, the Primary Groups selector no longer displays the complete list of groups to which the user is affiliated. Instead, only those groups assigned to the Data Connection category will be displayed. This limits the groups available in the selector to only those relevant to this particular selector box.

Categories may be managed in MAPS Config via the Groups Properties dialog when adding or editing a specific group, or via the Categories tab on the MAPS Navigation tree. For more information see Creating MAPS Groups.
