Evisions Delivery App
The Evisions Delivery App (EDA) provides a solution for accessing on-premesis resources (printers, email servers, network drives, etc.) from a hosted MAPS environment. On-premesis printers and email servers can be configured by selecting the out-of-network checkbox when configuring the printer or email server in MAPS Config.
Here is an overhead view of the Evisions Delivery App / MAPS workflow:
- If any job uses printers or email servers that are marked as out-of-network, MAPS will place these jobs in a delivery queue.
- The Evisions Delivery App will pull all delivery jobs in the Delivery Queue.
- The Evisions Delivery App will process each job and execute specific tasks for each delivery job.
- When the job completes, the Evisions Delivery App will update MAPS with the status of the delivery job.
